Yes, you'll get the new version. EGM-730AF is for ARP main studs. If you have factory main studs, you want part number EGM-730F.

So you HAVE to have ARP main studs to run this?

Currently, yes. We found most people tend to upgrade the main studs while the pan is off and we are going to offer the ARP stud kit as an add on with the kit.

But if there are enough requests we will make a version for the factory studs as well. We were just trying to minimize how many different scrapers we are making on the first batch since we have so many versions.

If I can simply swap the Main Studs out without worrying about main bore distortion, then count me in.

Albeit a debatable subject, we all know the ARP rod bolts distort the bore of the rods. I figured the same would ring true for the mains as well.

Are the scrapers actually available or still on backorder? Expected ship date keeps changing.

We don't have one for the factory stroke with aftermarket rods yet. We are working on them though and will start making those versions soon.

What oil pans do you guys have? F-Body?

The part numbers will follow the same structure as the 4" stroke parts, except the second number digit will be a 3 instead of a 4.

Post up what you have so we can figure out what to make next.

I have a fbody pan with lunati h beam rods, can get measurements if you need them. If you make one I will be your first customer. Thanks!

Thanks. We already have e a variety of rods and we will probably be making it soon. We've had a couple of requests.

Any way I could get this added to replace the windage tray with part #egm-450 kinda like a add on kit all together, so I don't need to buy everything seprate, as I'm needing a oil pan, pickup tube and dipstick as well?

As one of our engineers here speaking off what we as a company know, we sell the ARP stud kits as an upgrade to factory hardware due to increased strength, etc. We don't believe that this phenomenon is as significant as cylinder bore distortion itself due to engine block architecture, but we understand your concern nonetheless.

As long as the instructions provided with the ARP stud kit are followed, there shouldn't be complications. If however, all of your questions/concerns are not answered by reading the manual, we recommend contacting ARP for more information on this matter.

Absolutely, just give us a call and we will help you out. You can also just order the individual components you need instead of the baffled pan kit.
