Default 224/224/112 numbers

What should the average M6 224/224/112 car be making for power?

I have seen lots of high and low numbers but not a consensus on whats normal for this cam.

Going to get my car dyno'd this year and was wondering where I should fall at.

Does headwork make that big of a difference with smaller cam's?

Don't know numbers but heads help even on a stock cam. It'll flow more air at all lifts, not just at .600+.

A good set heads will make a big difference, especially if the SCR is raised at least a full point.

Also depends on the dyno and weather (I know it goes without saying).

I would estimate between 375-395

In a M6 car, 380-390 will not be an issue with that cam. Add some heads and a ported FAST 92mm, and you will be well into the 400's.

It also depends on which stock castings are being used, as the 241s are superior. 224 with 241 heads should be around 380 to 400. 224 cam with stock 806 or 853 heads will be closer to 360 to 380 on an m6 car.

My car did 368/362 cam only with 806 heads
Then did 414/387 with the tsp 5.3 heads

I gotta ask you, does that plate actually work? I had the idea of doing WVWWVW to throw off the cops, im assuming you have it for the same reason?

All they do is **** cops off. I am in police cars often, and it's not the back seat if you catch my drift...

If anything it throws off the general public calling your careless driving into 911. In my area "a red camaro with 5'S for a license plate"....everyone knows who that is.

It's more of an attention getter IMO. In michigan it's getting more difficult to get plates like this, I tried several combos before SOS let me have that one.

The 241 and 853 are identical heads. The only difference was the casting process which had very minimal difference in performance.
