Default frustrated with no spark condition

I have been chasing a no spark condition on my camaro for a while.
I have done a lot of troubleshooting and everything is coming out fine
things I did

verified the PCM is grounded
verified the PCM is receiving 12 v
verified its sending a 12v signal to the fuel pump.
new ignition relay, swapped it out with another one already as well
checked the coolant temp sensor. appears intact. I took it out and inspected it as well. no codes can be read bc I cannot connect my HP runners to the car. see below for this issue……...
all grounds check out ok
battery fully charged.
coils are receiving power at the plugs on both sides

have not checked the crank sensor….thats the only thing left

another problem that may not be related is I cannot connect my HP tuner to the OBDII port…
it shows an error
cannot connect to VCM

I verified continuity to the port from the BUS PCM pin out to #2 on OBDII plug
I verified it is receiving a 12 volt signal. it has power.
grounds check out ok.

Im at a loss….
car actually started about 3 months ago. I have not started it and now that a I want to move it to the garage it will not start nor connect to the HPtunner

PLEASE HELP me…….

Sounds like you have just about tried everything. If the crank sensor is a bust, would also check the contacts in the fuse block where that IGN relay plugs. I had some loose ones causing no start issues.

I think this was ruled out because voltage was verified at the coils.

The PCM fires the coils based on the crankshaft sensor AND the camshaft sensor.

I find it odd that the HP tuner won't connect. Perhaps a bad PCM? Try another code scanner just to see if it communicates. If yes, get the codes.

I will definitely defer to you , btw still rocking your truck coils based on your thread!

I did have loose contacts there and a bad relay...car would sometimes fire, but would also die while driving. Replaced the IGN and for awhile seemed that resolved the issue, but after the troubles came back and they always seemed fixed by reseating the relay...I started looking at the fuse block and found loose contacts.

I suppose that's a possibility. Power's there but now it's gone.

It was a bad PCM, eh? pretty rare but it happens.

For a replacement, ebay. They'll even send it to you with your VIN.

I have a spare PCM for the T/A and my DD S10. This way I can use the car while getting a mail order tune.

yeah I thought so....what is the deal with that. any reason why that would happen?
I will search for one in Ebay right away.
anything I need to look for specifically?
a 99 camaro PCM with A4 transmission would be the winner right

Search ebay for "1999 camaro pcm" and choose a seller that'll flash it with your VIN. Looks like they run around 80 bucks.

Check their recent feedback rating to make sure they don't have any (or tons of) negatives in the last month.

Zillions of vehicles got this PCM (411) including my '03 4.3 V6 Blazer with cap & rotor ignition.

looking at the ebay ads. it looks like some of them are saying the truck PCM are compatible. if that is the case I have a PCM from a 2004 5.3 tahoe in the garage...would that one work? how can I tell if it does.
also I have HP tuners. can I flash the right Vin to the car. its a conversion V6 camaro to a ls1 btw.

NOPE. Different PCM. The 2004 Tahoe 5.3 has a drive by wire throttle body.

I thought that some of the dbw PCMs could be used for dbc, as long as it had the extra capacitor, or whatever it is. http://lt1swap.com/cable_conversion.htm
