Lowmiles, in your case, I know you are NOT going to flycut, but if someone was willing to, it sounds like the better route is to go with the bigger intake runner, something along the lines of a 215cc or even 225cc, and the flycut. I really think that's what I'm going to do myself; get a cam along the lines of a Hellion, flycut accordingly and then let my AI Dart/RHS CNC'd 223cc head shine. Now figuring out what intake to go with is the hard part.

In your case I'd seriously rather see you stick with a 102/102 combo. Just go speed density and eliminate ALL restriction in the intake tract. Once she's dialed in it'll be fine. As long as you aren't going cross country and changing altitude a lot you'll love it.

I agree the bigger heads and flycutting would be more cost effective. But I don't want stock flycut pistons. Don't trust them incase I decide to spray later down the road.
And would deff go to the 102. Only reason I got a 92 was I got mine for $600

Yeah, I know the Hellion cam is made for the plastic intakes, but a variation to the cam profile can be made accordingly for the Super Victor/4150 TB. I don't know, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards a FAST 102/102 setup. It will be great in regards to flow and supplying the engine with ample air and it looks good; I'll have it smoothed and then hydrodipped by a local guy who does that. I just wish they didn't cost so damn much.
Dave, I'm already SD tuned and I like it a lot, so I'll stay that route.

Yep. Mine are about 1cc. So, it's like I have 63cc heads.
Ideally, I would have cut my heads down to 60cc or so (or ordered them that way to begin with... but alas). But the aggravation of driving 45 mins across town... twice to some yahoo that might have mucked up 2k heads didn't sit well with me. So I kept at 62 since I'm still at 11.2:1 with the Cometic .040s. 60cc would have given me 11.5:1 or so (and 8.8:1 DCR - pushing it a bit).

Jake, in your opinion, having a cam the size of the Hellion, while running 12:1 compression, would that be a nice, streetable setup that would run it's *** off at the track? I know you've said that milling the heads and running high compression works well with a big cam; just not sure if something the size of the Hellion is too big.

Hurry up and get your car running Jake and track it so I can see if I want to port my 243 heads or go with an aftermarket casting. I've been told ported 243s will make it lazy down low but I have the same stall as you so I'm curious if that will really only pertain to M6 cars.
Op I also don't want to flycut stock pistons so I'll be following this thread. Dr. W made a good point though and going bigger would give you more growing room in the future. Decisions decisions
