I've seen his heads make great power, so I know his stuff works, just never seen the actual port work before.

But has anyone tried this? How does this cam react to a larger head?

that is why you shouldn't polish ports in a head .would like to see the flow numbers .

I vaguely remember a thread in the Advanced Engineering Tech section about something like this a few years ago, but wasn't aware someone actually DID it. It's certainly interesting...

And I'd ditch that cam. Even Geoff HATES it. He only did it bc someone said it "couldn't be done". It was a challenge that he accepted "just because".

There's a much MUCH better cam out there for those heads. But a 250cc intake runner? Good lord... That's even bigger than the Mast small bore LS3's at 240cc, and they don't really "turn on" until around 4500rpm.

What's the planned use for the car?

Those heads flow a **** ton of air, or at least the flow data from Brett says they do. I had e-mailed back and forth with him a few times several years ago about doing port work, but what turned me away was the huge hogged out intake runners.

I like the t-Rex cam for drag racing. It holds the auto and manual cam only record.

That is a huge intake runner, why doesn't he do a dimple port job with smaller runners?

Track car 4,500 stall, trex cam, port matched 92/92, 1 7/8" arh long tubes, ati 25% udp, ftp 98 mm lid, chris1313 ram air... I know Geoff doesn't like it but something about the cam works. The list of fast cam only cars has more than a few setups with that cam.

If I recall correctly, he has 3 different programs with 3 different size ports.

I'm fairly certain he will do it on any port. Wish Mr. Tooley would chime in.

My car also runs on e85 with loves the volume. Brett seems to think it will be a monster. Just was wondering if anyone else has done it.

Do yourself a favor and shoot Tooley an e-mail. Tell him all about your setup and your goals and he will help you out with the right cam.

Him and Brett are very good friends. Brett encouraged me to try it first and see the results rather than swapping it. Car ran consistent 11.30's with **** exhaust and cam only.

250cc port? Holy Hell! What do these flow on a wet bench? I hate dry bench flow - tells you nothing of how the velocity/CSA affect cylinder filling with fuel added to the mix.

Hmmm, I want to see results. Hell I might guinea pig this one with my tax returns. Anyone know what other port sizes he makes? I'm planning on going 'heads' only, just to see how much of a sleeper I can be with no cam lope, interested in these for the price.
