lq4 cam bearing spun is block toast ? Awhile ago I had a oil press problem or lack of , I determined that I spun the cam bearing and my machine shop just confimed it but he said the bearing spun in the journal and the block is toast .He is an "old timer" and I just want to make sure the block is shot before I shell out money for a new block . Is there an alternative ?
