Default Help with CAM plz

I am getting a 2800 to 3200 stall Torque convertor and have been doing reading here and else where. I have not been able to determine how I should handle it.

I know I want a daily driver and that is why I am doing a 2800 to 3200 (I will not go higher) stall. And the CAM should work with same. I plan on addl like new springs and rocker arms and possbl push rods. The trans will have a cooler and possbl oil cooler. And tuning when I am done.

I want more HP while keeping low end torque but better 1/4 miles and ability to beat most anything stock on the street.

What size CAM should I do?

I would look at the Thunder Racing TR224/114lsa, the new TSP 225, or a grind from Futral Motorsports

all cams run between $350-420 unless you buy used...i wouldnt worry about a $50-70 price difference on something like a cam...pick something based on your wants & needs.

How would this CAM work with a 2800 Vig?

GM Hotcam 219/228 .525/.525 on a 112 duration

would probably work good but you would definitely need tuning for an A4. It's got quite a lope to it from what I've heard.
