What's the likelihood of getting by w/only honing the cylinders on a 200K lq4?

Default What's the likelihood of getting by w/only honing the cylinders on a 200K lq4?

That ran well when pulled. Looking at a few options locally and the cheapest option is complete and $800, but is 200k miles. Thinking if he'll drop the price of installing LS2 rods/pistons used, but would need to accept stock size--couldn't overbore.

Thoughts?

Its possible as long as the final hone keeps the cyl bore within specs. Only true way to tell is remove the pistons and use a dial bore indicator.
