Not sure where but it's a reason they call brian tooley the spring king. His stuff is top notch. I'm putting his valve springs along with his titanium retainers on my ls3 heads in the morning.

I ran his Platinum .660 kit with Ti retainers and loved them. No signs of valve float or anything up to 6800rpm. I installed at 1.750 height giving me .050 clearance from coil bind.

BTR offers the best springs on the market hands down! 99% of the valve springs that we sell are his and everyone loves them! They are a quality product that is very affordable. As for the mustang guys, we have been making progress getting the 4v guys to run his springs. Those who have love them!

wow thanks for the help guys. All the people on the ford forums are bashing me for want to buy them. They think you have to go buy the most expensive stuff for it to be good quality at all

Hey 5.0lover, welcome to LS1tech!
You may find we're a more friendly bunch than the hardcore Ford guys, it's like sometimes they always find a bone to pick with GM guys.
Are you installing an LS engine in your Mustang?
It's good you're doing your homework & research for these springs, a little work now goes a long way and usually saves you from blowing money on more expensive "gee wiz" parts that don't perform better that those in the know use.

I'm pretty sure the AFR 8019s were PAC springs. Regardless, the Mustang guys should know who he is. He ran Total Engine Airflow for years and they're huge in the Mustang community.

People on mustang corral know who he is but nobody has ever run his stuff so they all think its a bad idea to try his springs out
