Default ls1 conversation in to nissan patrol 4x4

Hey guy's,

I have been reading up on manifold swaps I have an early 5.7l ls1 and the opportunity to get a 12573572 manifold. The engine is in a 2.5 tone 4x4 i am obviously after low end torque rather than peak power. I have a comp cam 54-408-11 to go in it. Is the ls6 style manifold going to work better for me down low?

Thanks heaps

Of what I have read the truck intake does the best down low. The Ls6 intake is better up top and better than the ls1 intake over all..

I don't have any experience with the LS6 intake, however I can tell you that my engine hit a wall at 4k RPMs with the Gen 3 truck manifold.

yes, my initial setup used the Gen 3 truck intake manifold. It will work fine, just didn't have any power above 4k RPMs on my motor.
