For a 100 bucks who can beat that

 

I'm about to buy one for future use.

It is not the new comp tool, and I wasn't aware that comp made one.

 

comp makes one that is VERY similar to your design but more expensive FWIW

 

Looks good, but how good are the nuts? Do they last? I have used a tool simalar to that but for only one spring at a time. My problem was the nut would wear out (grade 8). Also, it would take a few trys to get the tool aligned correctly so the spring would go al the way down enough for my locks to pop out. Just asking as I will have to replace my springs eventually.

It looks like the groove cut in this particular tool would help keep the spring aligned properly when compressing.

The grove side is for spring that sit higher. You need to use this side to get the nut started. Our first spring the nut started to wear but after we dropped in in some rear end oil everything was good to go

 

It is NOT the comp tool. It IS a tool developed jointly by Vinci High Performance and Crane Cams; and it is slick. Best thing available for changing springs on an F-body, really saves the back. Allows super fast spring changes other applications as well.

 

Looks like a dual Larry tool, how much does that Vince one cost?

This Vinci one looks like the best I've seen. Cheaper than all of the 'fancier' spring tools too.

 

OK so sue me I thought it was comp, looks very similar to the "Crane" tool.

 

I could see how that tool could speed stuff up, I'll prob get one when/if my larry one breaks.

 

The larry tool combined with an air ratchet was real fast. With that tool and an air ratchet you could probably swap all the springs in 15 minutes.
