thinking of going with a bigger cam.
Hey everyone i have a 231/235 617/621 113+3 lsa cam from comp cams (which they are amazing) i was wondering if you guy can give me a better cam choice to get 450rwhp. Thats only a 50rwhp bump from where i am at now.
I have an 01 ws6
My mods;
Cam
Ported/killed stock heads(I always get them confused 243 n 241s)
Lt pace setter headers
Xpipe and dumps
Ls6 intake (stock)
SLP lid
3600 stall
Stage 2 shift kit
373 gears
Density tune
Not looking for this to get out of control but a good solid cam to get me the extra 50rwhp i would like to have if possible.
If i need to upgrade other things to help get there please let me know as well.
Thank you for your input in advance

Honestly my tuner said those where professionally hand done. They came on my car. I didn't know it was done till i had the engine redone. I dont care about dyno numbers just looking to get some more power. Would like for everything to match up as perfect as possible.

241's are stock ls1 heads, with that in mind autos arent dyno queens so seeing 450whp out of one is quite a bit more difficult than seeing it with a t56 car.
if you made 400whp with that cam then i'd say the heads must have a very light port job on them as with a heavy port and that cam i'd expect to see more if the converter is locked.
both of those things being said there is no cam alone that will give you an extra 50 over what you have. once you get into the larger cam ranges the peak power will only vary by 10-15hp. meaning an ms4 may make 435 on one car but your cam in the same car will make 420-425ish but have better torque under the curve. if you want an extra 50whp then you need to look into aftermarket heads or at least CNC'd 243 heads

You do realize that even the top notch really expensive heads are only going to give you maybe 20-30 hp over what you have now right? Assuming your 241's or 243's are done up well
