Can anyone tell me the major differences between the two cams? I currently have the tsunami I got at a bargain, and plan on installing with a set of cnc 243's and ls6 intake. I have all bolt ons an m6 with 4.10's. Was wondering if I should sell the tsunami and get the btr or keep it if there wasn't a huge difference in the two. Any other recommendations are welcome!

I am actually open to any cam suggestion that might be better, and works with my other mods(243's, intake, etc..) also, forgot to add I will occasionally be spraying 150-200 n2o. Maybe Martin, PatG, or Brian can chime in as well as others..

Honestly I don't think it's worth swapping to any cam unless you just have time and money to burn lol. That tsunami cam is pretty good, so it's just not worth it, but that's just one guys opinion
Also that cam will do just fine on a 10-200 shot

The BTR may be a little easier on the springs and rocker tips IDK for sure. Research P/V as well. I ordered the IV and had to send it back(they swapped it out for a III
) after learning to tight with anything other than stock clearance heads. Mine were only cut .015 and Brian said no way without fly cutting.

Dude you got 4.10's...screw the minute loss in low end tq lol. Besides what are you building here...a daily driver economy car or a badass weekend warrior/stip car lol? I mean you can't build a HCI LS1 car that makes great power and also have all the low end tq of a stocker...it's a total contradiction in terms lol

True..guess that's what the squeeze is for huh! I just didn't want to completely kill the low end, everyone on here always saying these larger cams destroy low end, don't use them, etc...but I was thinking the cam plus heads ans intake and gears would be a pretty good setup..but I'm no expert either haha!

Don't fall into the everchanging LSX trap. I have changed the set-up direction of my car for 5 years now. Several of my friends have done the same and most ended up selling the Frankenstein monsters they finally ended up with. If you have a good running set-up maintain what you have a learn to drive it to the best of your ability. Upgrade the consumable parts when they are going out (clutch, brakes, etc.) and be happy.
