Default heads and cam now starter wont turn motor

I can turn it over by hand fine. The battery looks fine. The starter engages the fly wheel and that's it. When I check it the gear is still in the fly wheel. Im just wondering if from coolant spilling on it from changing the heads if it killed the starter.

Anything else I can check out?

Coolant or water on the starter shouldn't hurt anything. Since you can turn it over by hand, nothing is locked. Everything worked before you swapped the cam (didn't it?).

The first thing I would do is check all your electrical connections - especially the grounds.

Yep everything worked before. I have a jump starter to see if maybe it's the battery. If not that I'll redo the connections on the starter.

Turns out it was the battery. Left It on the charger and put it back in and it started. Been in since I had the car might be time to get a new one
