Default stock vortek 350 compatible with tpi?

I am doing a 5.7 swap into my 85 Nissan 300zx and don't have much experience with Chevy v8's. I would really like to do a tpi setup and I have the opportunity to go pick up a stock vortek 350 out of a 90's suburban that has the tpi bolted onto it but its never been ran. My question is are the vortek heads and everything else going to be compatible with the tpi? I have a set of 194 heads from a different motor are they any better? What would you do?

If I were you, I would try asking in a different forum.

The mid-90s "Vortec" is completely different than the 99+ Vortec.
