I took almost all the bolts out, and used a screw driver to pry the pan down, then left the screw driver pried in between the block and pan to keep it lowered. As for the flywheel , A block of wood and a screw driver safely lodged in there, while laying on the ground, used my legs to push the breaker bar. That bolt was on there super tight but it did the trick!

To the OP....
I disassembled to oil pump and put the body on the block first...that way I could verify that I did not pinch the o-ring on the pick up tube...slid the gears in and replaced the cover... no issues at all. Also, take a look at this link:

This is the site I used for my first cam swap back in '06 and my head install a few years back. Its very well written and has great pictures. There are other "how to" write ups on the home page. There's one that is cam specific for F-Body's.
Best of luck to you, Brother!

Ok so here it is !
Only worry is, I have a bit of smoke coming from the exhaust.... It wasn't like this before. So did I do something wrong or is it the cam?
Went with pac1218 beehive springs, after reading some threads I'm worried about valve seals/spring height. Idk if that applies to any springs or not. Any insight will be appreciated.
But she sounds sweet!

Did some more research, could it be from not using thread locker on rockerr bolts? Saw a thread that said oil can be sucked into the engine through the bolt holes? Idk if this is true or not but figured I'd ask.

that was my next thing. if that checked out then the valve seals would be next. however like i said the smoke should be blue at that point. check them anyway and see, if they arent fully seated dont even screw with them pull them off and go to the auto store and get a new set for 20 bucks

Thanks!
Well I drove it to work today, it's smoking to much for my liking and has a blue tint to it. So I'm assuming I will be changing valve seals in the near future. I plan on pulling some plugs on it today after work to see what they look like. I just put new plugs in so it shouldn't be too hard to tell what's going on in there.
