cammed 5.3 706 to 243 swap ?'s Hello all, I have a 5.3 with a 224/228 .581/.588 110LSA tsp cam, longtubes,and an LS2 intake and a tune from NicD. and I just bought a set of low mileage 243's off a 6.0 and I was thinking about milling them to boost my compression to 10:1, my 706 5.3 heads are stock and the 243's will be stock aswell besides milling. I was wondering how much to mill them and how much power I would gain from swapping,
ALSO Would I benefit more from a FAST intake?

Hello , hows it going ? The heads unmilled should gain You between 15-25 hp depending and a great resource for engine/power/gear change/et.s formulas is "Wallace Racing" ,,,,,They have every formula You can think of and a hundred more .
