Default BTR springs with comp cams compressor

I am hoping the someone can tell me I will get the hang of this or has some tips. This installer doesn't seem to work worth a **** to center the retainers making it next to impossible to get the retainers on.

You have to move the springs as your compressing them to keep them centered.

Trial and error. If it seems the valve tips are going to hit the retainer, loosen, adjust, and try again. I had to do it too.

I used a small cordless drill with a socket at a slow speed so I didn't wear out my arm doing it. But yes, it works.

as mentioned above it's not just a matter of zipping them down, a large screwdriver might be required to wiggle things around a little

Great I was a little frustrated last night with it but I also has already striped the whole front of the car off changed the cam and alt and just wanted to try the first set of springs. I used to have a crane cams compressor and loved it but I let someone borrow it and it was never to be seen again. I thought I would give the comp a shot and first impression was this thing sucks I will try it again tonight when I get off work. Hoping to have it running by the end of the night.

make sure you lube the ball end of the center bolt too, that helps keep it from twisting the bracket so bad
