Smile Patriot CNC Ported Stage II Heads.. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, I have really been struggling to find the best set of heads for my car and specifically work with my Torquer V.3 112LSA cam. I was looking at several different heads and decided to go with AFR 215cc, but the cost of shipping to where I am and the crazy Tax and GST charges from my local customs made me hesitate in going ahead. Hence, I went looking for cheaper heads to suite my budget, and I came up with two results. One as mentioned in the title as follows:

Patriot CNC Ported heads costing $1390:
64cc Stage 2 Heads
Fully Assembled
650" Lift Springs
Titanium Retainers
Super 7 locks
21-4N Stainless Steel High-Flo valves
2.02" Intake Valves
1.57" Exhaust Valves
5 Axis CNC Ported - Polished Heads

The second option was the Texas Speed PRC LS6 stage 2.5 as cast.. Costing $1600

Any input for these two options would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd get the stage 1 ls6 heads from TSP and have them determine how much you can mill and be safe. Are you sure it's on a 112 LSA? It's usually ground on a 111 but I know you can get it on another LSA if you want.

The PRC LS6 heads are really good for the money IMO. I have PRC stage 2.5/5.3 heads (cheaper yet) and really like them as well

The PRC LS6 stage one is probably your best bang for the buck. It's only $1200 and marginally worse than the stage 2.5s.

Patriot's are cheap chinese knock off copies of real performance parts. The have problems with casting shift and porosity. They also use cheap components. There's no place in my garage for any of that stuff.

Never buy cheap parts, they're too expensive.

Thanks all for the input, I think I'll go with the TSP PRC either stage 1 or 2.5 depends on availability. I never thought Patriot were cheap Chinese ****, good thing I asked. Yeah my cam is on 112LSA.

If I went heads again, I'd go the Livernois CNC ported stage 2 for $1500.

Why these heads mate? And where can I find them if you have tried them and really recommend them?

Cheers

Livernois heads make power. I'd consider them.
