6.0 pulling truck engine build help My engine as it pulls now is stock 6.0 bottom end with arp rod bolts and +4 dome wiseco pistons. Top end is stock 317 heads milled .10 with comp. 26918 springs and lingenfelter gt2-3 cam.
What I am wanting to do is build the top end of the motor. I want the most compression I can get and ill be running E85. Need some help on picking heads and cam.
The problem is that the class I run has to be stock in appearance. I have a tbss intake that I am porting with 90 mm throttle body. And thinking of some kind of corvette manifolds. Any ideas?

So headers and an aftermarket intake are out of the question? If so, that sucks.
If you can't put headers on it, that's going to REALLY hinder your ability to make power, because in NA form, you need the best breathing engine you can get, which isn't going to happen with manifolds. Too bad you can't run headers and then a single plane intake and 4150 TB with a wicked cam and some really high end heads, like TFS, AFR, or MAST. Compression wise, I think you could get away with 14.5:1 or maybe even higher on e85. Some more details would be great. Sounds like a pretty cool build though. I love pull trucks. Just never seen a LSx pull truck.

Yea all the truck pulling guys like the big blocks but I like to beat them with a small block and they are like WHAT!! There is a class above me that I would like to jump up to that allows all of that. Also looking for some more sponsors that could show off there products on a ls powered pulling truck. Thanks to Jay @ Hptuners for his help and awesome product.

Verdad Gallardo I'd look at stepping up to that next class. Sounds more fun, but at the same time, will be more expensive. You could build a bad *** powerful motor without those restrictions. Solid roller for sure either way. You will need RPM's.
Any more on this OP? I love seeing threads like this. It gets old seeing the same monotonous questions being asked, but this thread is definitely unique and something I've never seen before. I bet you could get a few sponsors on here on board if you go through with it. I'm routing for you. You see the LSx engine in pretty much everything from dedicated drag cars to road coarse cars, so there is no reason why one can't be strong in a pull truck. Any pictures of the truck this would be going in? I'm a huge truck pulling fan.
