Default Need updated PTV specs
So I have .020 milled 243 heads. With ms3 cam. I'm at about 80-85 close to 90 PTV clearance. Do I need to fly cut pistons? What is the lowest someone has run clearance wise. It's gonna be a daily with moderate drag racing.

I've read people running less without problems. Thanks.

What are the exact specs on that cam and how did you measure?

.080 should be fine. Generally .080 intake and .060 exhaust are considered to be safe.

I've been running 90/70 for a couple of years now with no issues. Valve control is critical, and stay off the limiter if at all possible.

A lot of guys run a lot less clearance than that. The T-Rex cam has about half of that LOL.

PtoV is not an issue with running nitrous. Unless you have no rev limiter. LOL
