I heard 6.0's are gas hogs compared to a 5.7, and, if .3 makes the hog, I can do without the .3 hog. I only want around 380hp @ 6k rpm and all the torque I can gobble up in between. However, I do not want it at any price. I want to match parts that will give me the most efficient engine possible to complete the burn before it leaves the cylinders. Not sure if thats a conundrum or not, but, we will see when the dust settles.

I agree. 6.0 came mostly in trucks and trucks just weigh a lot...less MPG of course. Total BS if generally applied to 6.0. 6.0 Vettes and GTOs got good gas mileage comparatively when tuned right.

I wasnt sure, I thought it might be bunk, but, still looking around.
And, just for the record, its changed to a E36/LS1 swap.
