Default 400whp+ weekend warrior build

Hey guys, I'm new to the v8 scene coming from the import scene. Im doing a stock lq9 swap into a nissan 350z… Im running a gto T56 and I'm looking for a solid cam that could make power from 3000-7000rpm since i plan to DD and do road racing during the weekend. I DO NOT want to flycut the pistons. Im looking for plug and and play… I'm thinking the torquer v2 or a custom cam with the following specs 233/237 .585/.589. lsa 113+4. Mid range and top end mean more to me than power down low x<3000rpm. Any suggestions??

Cliff notes
stock lq9
t56
1-7/8 LT headers from my SIKKY swap Kit (3.5in outlet)
LS6 intake
36lb injectors
3in true dual exhaust
spec 3+ clutch
.620 lift valve springs
psi wire harness
custom tune
WHAT CAM?

I'd raise thd compression some with whatever heads you plan on buying.... and as for cams there are a solid number of grinds out there.... Brian tooley or Martin@tick can set you on the right path cam wise

For a stock LQ9 I would keep the intake duration in the low 230's for a street car. Weight and gearing will also play a big factor in deciding. Steeper gear and lighter weight will allow you to go larger on the cam and still maintain street manners.

If you are looking to dd it and road race it, I would chose a cam profile with an endurance type lobe.
