Agreed 100%.

If you already have a 233/239 camshaft then swapping to a camshaft with similar duration/lift/LSA will not net you large enough gains to make the swap worth it.

If you do not like the way that it drives you could go with a smaller camshaft that has less valve overlap, but in regards to making more power your best bet is going to be a good set of heads and/or intake manifold.
