I would get my heart set on a certain dyno number because if your car is setup right (with whatever cam) the dyno number means very little.

Being that you're a stalled auto, I wouldn't shoot for M6 numbers, you'll probably be disappointed.

What do you want to trap at the track, and how to you want the car to drive?

With your stall, the TSP 228R or Torquer 2 would be perfect for a daily driver.

I understand your question, but you titled the thread Tick vs TSP cams. If your goal of the magical 400 number with a cam only set up; one could achieve that with Ticks polluter, or TSPs MS3/MS4.

I may be partial, but I would go with the Tick SNS Stage 3.

To be completely honest changing your cam is not going to be worth the time or money....let alone do much for performance

If it doesn't feel right it may be in the tune or other supporting mods. Also you would probably need a higher stall to take advantage of a bigger cam.

give martin at tick a call tell him your goals and set up and let him spec you a cam, I have used both tick and tsp cams in several customer cars and had been using tsp cams in my personal cars for the past four years but some of martins cams have impressed me enough I have one from him to put in my 403 im building

231/239? Either it's a custom grind or it's our OLD MS2 cam or it's our 233/239 cam and you're mistaken on the cam numbers. Either way, Just give us a call and we can go over your combo and help you select a cam be it off the shelf or custom that would better suit your goals than what you're currently running.

I had that cam in my GTO and really enjoyed it. What are you not liking about it?

If its the TSP 233/239 i just installed that cam. It sounds mean, and it lopes crazy. Drivability has been good so far. I havent driven it much though.

If you are running this cam, i wouldnt swap it out.

I would not put a big cam in a daily driver stalled auto car.
