Default LQ4 spun cam bearing... Buy it or not?

I found an LQ4, the guy said it spun a cam bearing, or "just pushed it out". Says he hasn't pulled the cam so doesn't know if the journal is damaged. Is it worth $300? I can take it to work and have another cam bearing put in no problem if it didn't screw up the journal, just don't know if it is easily fixable if the journal has damage. I know it will need a new cam, but that is just a good reason to throw a good torque cam in it. (This will be going in my tow pig Yukon)

Thanks in advance!

The cam journal is usually unharmed when this happens. Common problem...

I actually just picked up an LQ4 with the same problem. Im going to use some loctite bearing retainer on the bearings.

I'd buy it. Check the cam bores to make sure that the bearing bore of the bearing that walked out isn't larger in relation to the cam bearing OD than the others. If it is, try to find a cam bearing w/ a larger OD to keep the same press fit or metal to metal relationship as the others. This way, there is less risk of it walking out again.
