Default Anyone running .036 milled heads?

Looking for someone running a similar setup that I plan on doing. I'm running .036 heads with stock head gaskets, in order to stay away from fly cutting. Has anyone else done the same thing as I'm attempting to do? I've talked to someone at Texas speed and they said I would be okay running the 228R.

I used to have a motor that I milled the heads .035 and used a .040 gasket. Cam was 224/228 with XER lobes. I had plenty of clearance.

Nice to hear. Do you have the full specs for the cam? How was the power?
