Cloyes hex a just with extreme C5R chain & LS2 damper fitted, if not drilled for damper use the Trick Flow bracket.
ATI Damper as well

 

I have the cloyes ls2 hex adjust single roller with patriot duel springs .246@.50 .642 no problems for 4 years! No chain dampner either, I do have a ati balancer tho if that makes a differance

 

Ok, I see. Have you ever seen the thread about chains breaking from using 25% underdrive pulleys for road racing? In that thread it seemed as if it didn't matter what chain those guys were running but they all had one common factor that was linked to their chain breakage problem, and that was the 25% underdrive pulley.

 

Have you guys checked out the "C7R" that Hinson started selling? It's supposedly stronger than the C5R and a seamless design... Just curious. It's probably the one I'm going with when I build the Vette.

Always going to be something bigger stronger better, dearer etc

The C5R chain has not been broken road racing, did it need to be bettered, maybe, maybe not.
