Default Milled 243: Same compression LS1 vs LS2 Shortblock

All things the same... gasket thickness, combustion chamber, will the compression ratio be the same between an LS1 shortblock and an LS2 shortblock?

Basic math says no.

2.25 more cubic inches per cylinder...364 vs 346
LS6 is 10.45:1 with 243 heads having 64.45 cc of volume and IIRC .054" gaskets
LS2 is 10.9:1 with 243 heads and IIRC .051" gaskets....003" difference thickness offsets the 4.02" bore increase vs 3.91"

Thanks guys, that's what I calculated a couple months ago, just got my TEA 243's (64cc) and wanted to triple check, I'm going to be running a .041" Fel Pro and a stock LS2 shortblock.

Should be a touch above 11 to 1
Couldn't wrap my little brain over why the compression increases when the piston size increases without simplifying it a bit.
Think of it in volume of fluid compressing into x sized chamber
More volume=more compression in the same size chamber

Yup we just talked about this the other day when calculating my heads on his ls2 versus my ls1...calculator said compression would increase a decent bit with no other changes
