Milled 243: Same compression LS1 vs LS2 Shortblock
LS6 is 10.45:1 with 243 heads having 64.45 cc of volume and IIRC .054" gaskets
LS2 is 10.9:1 with 243 heads and IIRC .051" gaskets....003" difference thickness offsets the 4.02" bore increase vs 3.91"

Couldn't wrap my little brain over why the compression increases when the piston size increases without simplifying it a bit.
Think of it in volume of fluid compressing into x sized chamber
More volume=more compression in the same size chamber
