Question Horsepower Numbers? Probably not the right place to be posting this, but bare with me guys, still new to this.
I am wondering what kind of horsepower do you guys think my truck might be pushing, trying to see where exactly i will be at that way i wont be to disappointed or to happy once i dyno it.
Well I have an 05 silverado
-6.0 lq4
-Cammed 231/239
-Brian tooley dual springs
-Ls7 lifters
-Harden pushrods
-Longtube headers 3"dual pipes 2 magnaflow bullets
-Nnbs(2008-2010 silverado) intake with 90mm throttle body x link 32lb injectors k&n cold air
-3000 circle d stall
-built 4l60e (might end up putting a 4l80e)

Sounds nice. Nothing done to the heads? Occurs to me you might have a bit much cam for lower compression of the LQ4 and heavy vehicle but I'm sure it really wakes up on the top end!
Tune is everything. I think you might see 350 at the wheels but that could be +/- 35HP depending on the tune.

Dynoes read different man so just double check and post a pic of the graph when its done being dyno tuned. Iirc mustang dynos read low and dyno jets read higher than mustang dynos. So we could give you a ball park but thats why some say plus or minus another number. So regardless just don't expect a big number bc dyno numbers doesn't count they are tuning tools. Drag strip numbers matter. I cant give you a hp goal but i just wanted to help you understand a thing or two about dynos is all. Best of luck regardless of the out come.

I remember one rag tested it and they were surprised at how well it did, but it didn't match the LS6. I'm putting in a little bit bigger cam (235/242) and I have my fingers crossed just to hit the 400rw mark, but I have a T56 and LS6 intake.

Well aslong as it gets close to the 400 mark i'll be happy and just adding some nitrous should definitely get it over the line, im hoping to make it in the low 12s at the 1/4 mile. Just looked up some videos on that 235/242 cam and it sounds very choppy!, what size engine you running? Im sure it will be close to the 400 mark no doubt especially since you have that t56 tranny.
4.10 IMO but depends on tire size, vehicle weight, etc. Check to see what you have stock. Some trucks have tow package or equivalent and get some pretty deep gears from the factory. If you have something like 3.55 or lower (numerically) in there now you likely are not seeing the full potential of that setup.

Only reason i didnt want to do 4.10s was because i had them on my previous truck which was a 4 door silverado but it would stay spinning at the line wouldn't go no where till it hit almost 3rd gear!, and ive ran 3.73s on the previous truck before which was an ls1 ext cab silverado and would launch without any problems and would also react well on streets. So thats why im leaning more towards 3.73s, but people have told me to use 3.90s but im not sure how those work. And yeah as of now has 3.23 gears lol. I have a set of 3.42s just laying there that i was thinking of trying out for the heck of it but figured if ima go through the trouble of changing the gears might as well put whats going to stay on the truck for good.
Sounds like you know what is best for your particular truck. Again, it depends on a lot of variables. At any rate, the current 3.23s aren't doing you any favors.
It occurs to me that you should gear for best use of power and address your traction issues additionally and you'll end up with a much faster vehicle overall.
