New cam WITHOUT a stall????
Keep it cheap, keep it simple and have fun. It's easier that way.
Realistically, he will gain MORE from a STALL than he will a mild cam on his setup. So it really doesn't matter what cam will work without a stall, he should put a nice tight stall in it first instead. Then add a cam later. The turbo kit is more than capable of blowing up the engine, trans and rear end without any help. So just add some more boost to compensate until he can build everything else around it.
That being said, a GT2-3 could be done, and it's made for boost. OEM Z06 cam. There's a list that can go on. But really, why bother?

He probably also needs to beef up his trans. And rearend.
The general did a GREAT job overengineering this car /sarcasm/
Almost everything is **** and will blow up. There is no way to do fast and cheap on this car. The shortblock can handle some power, but that's it.
And the hotrod idle can be done with a stock cam. It's all in the tune. But most turbo friendly cams don't sound crazy either as that's not ideal for making power on boost.
