RHS Pro Elite Small Bore LS7 Heads
Whatever Chris tells you.
I was contemplating a 418 LS3 with his TFS 237 Cathedral port solid roller prep package. And a Kip LL Solid Roller... But I need to get everything else done to the car first. I still have the roll cage, rearend, k-member, and nitrous kit to get before I can care about the bottom end or switching up the motor combo.

I've seen a couple people run 14:1 with e85. It all depends on the chamber shape and cam selection to maximize the effects of e85 and compression. If all that spec'd out then I dont think 14:1 is a problem however if I was doing I still may take it down a notch JUST to be safe maybe 13-13.5 range but I know 14:1 can be done on e85 with the right parts
I may be burned at the stake for saying this, but not everyone needs or wants big cubic inches. With the displacement comes torque, which is a killer on drivetrain parts. Not to mention it can make a street car handle like an ice skate.
RHS has the Pro Port version of these that a cylinder head guy can port to his liking with whatever choice of valve sizes that fit the valve spacing. 266cc is just one of RHS's programs. I'd like to see just how small of a CSA these things can be set at and how much work a Pro Port needs to be ready to run. I think they're about $580ea, but who knows what the hardware consists of. With a raised runner, I'd think longer valves would be required.

I wouldn't expect anyone using the 266 program would want much of a street car out of it. Which is why I jumped to solid roller and race fuel.
But I agree... a heads/cam 346 has plenty of power on the street. One reason I like it + nitrous. That's enough to push these cars into the 9s with the right setup while remaining somewhat usable on the street.

Yeah, I think possibly the Pro Port version would be the way to go. It would give your and your head guy the power to design the heads around your combination. I'm curious who else out there besides Chris Frank has a CNC program for these heads. I'm sure there are quite a few, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. AI, TEA, or WCCH could possibly have programs that they don't list on their website.
