Default What gains would I get with this setup

So I currently have a polluter v2 cam. Put down 427 hp 404 tq through a 9 in. I have all the supporting mods. My question is. What gains would I see if I got a set of ported 243s and a fast 102. I'm currently running the stock 853 heads and with tax time I want to do some more upgrades

You should see around a 50 hp gain with those heads and intake. Although gaining 150 hp for like a third of the price sounds really nice too lol

I would think if the car was full weight with stock suspension 10s would be a challenge.

I've done some weight reduction. Going to do some more. I have a 9in with spohn tunnel mount and spohn lower control arms. I need different shocks which I'm already looking at

If all you really want is 10's then just spray it IMO. A 100-150 shot will do far better than a heads and cam setup

I thought about a 100 shot. I'm at 138,000 miles. Stock bottom end.

I prefer wet since you don't have to mess with the injectors, but either one is fine really. 100 shot is not big at all so at this level it's not a big deal

With adding heads and intake to your setup you should see high 10's as long as you are good at driving the car.

I'm pretty good at driving it. Picked up a mgw shifter, 2 step and a cut out. Need to get that all on now

Well everything escalated quickly lol. I bought a set of 243s. A fast 102 off a buddy that's set up with direct port. E85 injectors. Now all I need is a fuel pump. He's also including the nitrous set up. I need warm weather to get here
