Get a floating pin connecting rod?

Why you would want to reuse the stock ones is beyond me. Even a basic OEM Gen IV rod is cheap enough to swap in.

If your rods are press fit and the pistons are floating pin, then they'll work together just fine. Take them to a machine shop to assemble.

Depends on what size the pins are.

Thought I remembered reading that pressed are .943" and float are .944"
If true, a competent machine shop could still hone the rod small ends to get the correct interference fit.
A few other options are as someone suggested, get a factory full floating rod
or just hone the small ends enough to float them metal on metal. I've run engines like that on the street plenty of times. We used to just drill a small oiling hole into the end of the rod (top inward toward the pin hole) and with .0008" clearance they would often look just fine on repeated teardowns.

I don't understand why you would put in aftermarket pistons with stock rods.

Ask questions FIRST before committing to poor choices.

What will it cost to recondition stock rods and hone them for the different pin size? Then you still have stock rods.........
