Default hard starting LS1

Hey, new here to LS1Tech. Recently acquired a 02 Camaro 6 speed. Previous owner said the car always takes 3 tries to crank it up. It will always crank on the 3rd try and once running, it runs great. I'm replacing the fuel filter this weekend but I suspect it could be a weak priming fuel pump. Any ideas?

I had the same issue with mine. I swapped out the fuel pump, and the problems went away.

I have a 95 LT1 Z28 for parts. Will the fuel pump swap over from LT1 car to LS1 car?

Sounds like the pump is bad letting the pressure back into the tank. So when you try to start it, it has to prime the fuel system again and build up the pressure.

Stock as far as I can tell except for a sweet sounding cat-back exhaust. LT1 car has a different pump then the LS1 car. Any recommendations on a new fuel pump if I do plan to mod it down the road?

I bought the Racetronix pump with the hot wire kit. It's a Walbro pump and is good for 650-680rwhp with the hot wire kit.
