I have a ls 5.3 out of a 02 chevy truck. I want to swap it into a 1978 chevy K30 4x4 truck. I am looking for options for transmission. ...manual and auto both to work in a 4x4 driveline. Any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Do you like the transfer case you have? I would be inclined to use the tranny from the donor and an older t-case for manual lever.
How will the truck be used?
