Default LS1 Engine build

Hi All.

This is probably and old topic that has been question many times, but i cant find my answers, so i post this thread and hope that you guys and girls would have some input for me.

I am building my 1997 LS! engine and i am wondering how much hp the block it self can handle.

These are the parts i have :

Trick Flow top end 515-460 kit.
http://www.trickflow.com/parts/tfs-k306-515-460

Fast 102mm big mouth intake with TB
Lunati 4 inch stroker crank
Lunati H-beam rods
Mahle racing 4.065 pistons
MLS head gasgets
APR head studs
ARP Main studs
Melling high Flow oil pump
42lbs injectors
custom made headers

My driveline
T56 magnum 6 speed
C4 rear end
Custom driveshaft and halfshafts ( not recived yet)

I am hoping to reach somewhere around 700HP

Will the block handle this?? or do i have to go for the LS3 block?

Any info is very appreciated

Thanks

The block won't like that 4.065" bore you have listed for the pistons though. You can't really go much over 3.905" without new sleeves, and that's about a $2k investment.

You aren't going to get 4.xxx pistons in a LS1 block without a resleeve

You might want to look for an LS3 block for those pistons or an LQ4 block with a full pour of Rock-Blok to get .065 over.
