Bringing back an old thread. I've just recently picked up a set of Gen 4 flat tops for my lm7 on a killer deal. Also decided to maybe put larger intake valves in my 862 heads seeing as I can get the machine work done for fairly cheap. With those changes in mindes, does this still sound like a decent grind? The compression will now be closer to 10.5 or 10.7, and the larger intake valve should help on that side of things as well.

Given all else the same, does this sound like a cam that my mom or girlfriend would be able to get in and drive to the local cruise in? Then still have the power for me to lay down some decent times at the track?
