Got a few updated pics from the painter. Picking the car up Thursday. I'm going to need to get my windshield in before he does the hood so he can fit it properly but the VFN hood fits perfect otherwise. Very very happy with what it looks like. Once I get my wiring harness this car will be done soon after

That's a beautiful grudge car you got there. That chassis is going to make the most of those 383 cubes!

PS I'm jelly of your cars and driveway lol

LOL. Not too much to update buddy. Got the car home and it looks great but I've been waiting on the glass guy to come and change out my front windshield so the painter can come back and mark the hood then he can cut it to fit the windshield perfectly and paint it.

Also, still waiting on the wiring harness. Just talked to him yesterday and he said the end of next week he should be shipping it out to me. Then I can start assembling the final pieces.

I also have to figure out how to make and mount a throttle bracket cable for my PMC intake. I'm going to try and flip the throttle body upside down and see what space I have. Lots of little stuff like that to do still also.

I bought a lift from Greg Smith equipment so I can store both cars for the winter and not take up a ton of space. Been working on my other car also. It's pretty close

Some pics while he was still working on it

Here's after it was polished on the ride home. Had to stop and take some pics before it got dark lol

Painted the engine compartment with a wrinkle style paint. Turned out nice

Here are some pics of the lift assembly. It's done now I just need to roll it over where the silver car is. So have to play some musical cars.

Assembly started. Pretty easy overall to do. Just heavy ramps to try and move yourself

Boosted car was stuck out in the rain a couple days

Cars, garage, and lift look great! All of attention to detail on your build(s) will pay off. I can feel it lol. Hopefully next year, if shes running, I'll get to see you at Lucas Oil/Muncie Drag/or whatever track you run at. Norris tuned my car also, hes good people. Anyway keep us updated we love this stuff!

Thanks man! I'll probably race a few spots next year if all goes well. My home track is US41 in Morocco. Where in Indiana are you?

I'm in Muncie, but not afraid to travel lol will more than likely go to the bigger events at Lucas Oil. Muncie is a good track and some people with nice builds come here. Your build thread has been very detailed and you're getting close. Can't wait to see it run!

Got an update! Wiring harness is shipping tomorrow. This thing looks sick. Took awhile but Brian is a really good guy. Really knows his stuff. Went through a lot with me tonight on the phone. He even wires cars now but I want to do it myself.

Here are some pics. Enjoy!

Awesome stuff man! Did you build the panel or is that Brians work? Now you can fit two birds in one coop.

Thanks! No I definitely didn't build the panels. Really glad I didn't try now. That is some intricate stuff for sure!

The lift is awesome to have. Under $2k from Greg Smith equipment and works awesome. Just need to get the silver one running so I can get to the black one easier. Just found out I need to swap engine harness for silver car cause I swapped my 98 to 99 pcm. I know you can repin it but that seems like more of a hassle than swapping the harness. I have a psi harness for the silver car already. Just need to figure out how to install it. Almost done though.

I did wiring in cars for a little. That panel is very impressive! Definitely the kind of work I respect.

The little bumps at the end of the road. Almost time to get those birds rumbling..great to hear! Again, awesome builds.
