Maybe AI can provide the flow numbers and you can post them here. I am sure there are others who could use the information as well.

Anyone can tell me which gasket bore should i go with for stock bore lq4? Ls2 gasket shows a 4.020 bore but i want thinner. I seen trickflow cometic 4.060 bore .045 gaskets. Anyone have experience with these?

The heads were not stock 225s as advertised amd had stock valve job from Dart.
I have them at a machine shop who done my 241s 12 years ago now getting a 5 angle valve Job and touching up short turn radius that someone already cut on.
He is flowing before and after to make sure they are not fubar. (F'ed up beyond all repairs )

Don't remember the bore on my gaskets but I am running the 0.040" Cometics. Surface finish and flatness is critical. I also sprayed them with Hylomar spray prior to installation. The bore may be determined by the chamber width and nor the bore, so check both before deciding on the gasket bore size.

AI flows theirs on a 4.00 bore and your guy did his on a 4.30 bore. Curious if you get higher readings with the larger bore or smaller bore? Just trying to compare the flow numbers. My heads come in at 223cc and yours are 225cc.

4.030 bore will flow more. Dont get caught up in those numbers, these are 225 heads with 2.05 int.valves.
You have higher mid lift numbers ,advanced induction told me he finishes these at 232 cc and i would guess in the 340 cfm range.
These are still as cast with very little touching up done

I have a ported fast 90 with Nick Williams tb.

With the 6 spd and open cutout with 12 bolt and 4.10 gears my 241s made 452/422
With the automatic swap and a 4500 nitrous converter it put 425/378 through Basani true dual.

Final product after doing a valve job and back cut on exhaust.
Intake side look where avg flow shows 260
And exhaust look at where it says backcut on valves

60 cc chamber volume with a .045 cometic gasket will be 11/1 compression on my lq4.

I expect to put them on week after next.
With current 241 heads that only flow 257/219 and 10.3/1 compression , the car ran 11.34 @119 with a 1.60 60ft motor @ -.660 da
Ran 10.74 @125 1.50 60 ft on a 75 shot with only 825 bottle psi.

How much did you spend total on the heads after everything?

This is a set of 225's with 2.055" intakes before and after some bowl work. If you get reduce the guide boss, the results are very good. In stock form they suck, sorry.
