I'm hoping for a couple tenths maybe 3. They are not in stock form as the flow sheet shows. Bowl work, short turn radius and valve job done.
I have a 4500 nitrous converter so on motor just from the heads i will be happy with 11.teens then a 26" tire will help with gear ratio on motor .

11. teens? How about a high ten? I am going to get my car dynode on Mon. if it doesn't break the 500 RWHp I am going to be disappointed for sure. The Dart heads are good quality manufactured parts but need work as cast. You can do more work to them as you upgrade other items and make more power.

The nitrous converter is holding me back on motor. Car is 3800 with me in it, i want 10.999 and that is my goal but i don't expect it from the heads alone.
26" tire will help a bunch so maybe then it will.
For this combination I chose not to port the heads. Next short block will go up to a 370+ cube with a bigger cam and 12to1 compression. Then i will get the heads ported. For now they are plenty.

Update.
Heads are on .i used cometic .045 gasket and 60 cc chamber for 11.0/1 compression and came out with .075 int. .190 exh for ptv clearance with the stock lq4 dish pistons.
Car will be running next week when i get in and can lower the body back down on the k member.

Was wondering when you'd have some updates. Good to hear. Looking forward to seeing some numbers.

The bad weather that flooded most of Louisiana last week held me up some. the motor Is sitting on the k member with headers and everything ready to lower the car down. I work a week on and week off on Tow boats so Tuesday I get off for a week. Wednesday I will put the motor and trans back in. should be running that evening.

Looks like a speed density tune will be coming. Logged data shows that my map is at 98 where it used to show 100 to 101 kpa.
This is with only 24 degrees of timing so as I crank the timing up and lean it out (@12.2) to 12.8 that reading will be even more restricted.
Good sign that its making more power

Going to Engine Power Systems to dyno tune today. May or may not be speed density, if i dont need it to be ,i will keep the maf.
On data log it has picked up a good bit of air flow from the new heads, maf readings went from 1.04 grams per cylinder /sec to 1.11gc/s.
Old heads went 452/422 with 6spd and then swapped to an automatic and full exhaust so it dropped to 425/385.

I'm gonna predict 445/400.hopefully more but this is my expectations

Very happy. First pull off the street i had pulled 2degrees of timing (25.5 total) from old heads to be safe. Turns out it liked it.
Through maf it did its best after 1st warm up pull at 457 rwhp. Tried speed density and it made 458 with my slp lid and straight pipe. Tried a friend's ftra 104 lid and gained 2 hp. And that lid fit like crap,i will stay with my slp.
We decided to stay maf tuned for nitrous. I have a motor tune and a nitrous tune,on a 75 shot we made 509 rwhp.
I'm plenty happy with 33 rwhp since my 241s are not stock.

Great gain man, you must be stoked, the Darts are obviously a good thing considering your 241's had been played with, how was the gain through the range? It's also interesting that MAF v MAFless made very little difference.

I will see if Geoff can do an overlay of my best old heads vs the Darts.
My old heads always made good power too. The same guy who done those did my Darts valve job and blending.
He certainly knows how to make them work.
