Looks like 33whp. Very nice gains over ported 243's!

Did you guys try adding the timing back in and see if it helped it?

It gained a total of 33. We went from 25.5 to 27.5 and it lost a little power.seems it just wants 25.5.
On speed density it went 460 but was on the lean side at 13/1 .
I tune for 12.5/1 as e10 is 10% fatter stoich then gas.

Going to the track tomorrow night,i added a can of torco accelerator octane boost for the nitrous so i will see if it wants that 27degree timing then.
I'm going to start off on my 275x50x15 street R's then switch to my 275x60x15 pros for a motor pass to see ifthe new combo likes the short tire still
Then I'm spraying a 75 shot.

Oh and this was mild ported 241s.not 243s. They always made good power so I'm happy i gained this much. The 241s only flowed 257 @600 int. 219@.600 exh.
Car made 452/422 when it had a 6spd.
Dropped to 425 with the 200 4r swap .
Geoff said this would be a 500 rwhp combinationif it was still through a 6spd.
This is through 4.10 gears in a 12 bolt with 295x45x17s

So i did get new best at the track but not by much. Very consistent though being the DA started at 1000 feet above and i ran 11.29@119.85 right off the trailer.
Second pass everything was warmed up and went 11.23@120.6 mph 1.56 60ft.
Added 1 degree of timing and ran 11.23@120.8. Mph 1.57 60 ft.
Then had a 2.5 hour shut down cleaning a mess and i was stuck in staging lanes. I wanted to swap to my 275x60 pros and compare tires on same night.
Air density did get better by then but my rear fluid and Trans fluid cooled off and car slowed a little to a 11.26 +12.8 mph 1.58 60ft.

11 pm at night i wasn't Changing tires after that delay so i loaded up and headed home. So for sure gained 1 mph in +600 air compared to last outing with 241 heads at-1000 DA

I had the 13 in my ls1 and made 441/410 with it. When i swapped to the lq4 short blocl i went 14 just for the little c.i change.
Both great cams, but i do like the 14 sound better so that gets my vote. Still a mild cam by today's standards

So just to update, i went to the track 1 time since my last up date and went 11.21@122 mph and in 6 passes my slowest was 11.27@121 but my 60 ft was off all day. Not from spinning, from transmission coming apart little bit at a time.
1.60 60ft was best of the day, rear planetary came a part so its out and being repaired.
. Converter was not doing what it was supposed to so i called FTI and they recommended an 8" for my set up. After asking what his 8" would do over his best 9.5" he says 3tenths so i asked what his 9.5"would do over my all wrong nitrous converter and he saysprobably 3tenths . So possibly a half second sold me on a 8". Cant wait to see how it drives with an 8" 5200-5400 stall 😁

Transmission came in,will work on it tomorrow night, upgraded from a stage 2 to a stage 3 with added trans brake.
So 8" vs 9.5" and now a trans brake. Will probably be 2 weeks before a day at the track.

8" put me in 10s so I'm happy with it.
10.91@122.78 1.455 60 ft
8 passes in a row was 10.9s but this was the best one.

DA was 162 ft above and lots of dew on car
