Default Vindicator with aftermarket heads help

I have the Vengeance Racing Vindicator Camshaft- 240/244 .605/.596 112+4 in my 99 base c5. I'm looking at getting heads for it soon. I was wondering (dont know much about heads) what heads would be great with this cam. The car is my summer toy, I try driving it every sunny day.

looking for big power as its my summer toy. I have a fast 102 intake manifold and I heard some aftermarket heads will lift the manifold up. I already had fitment issues with this manifold so I'd like to not have to deal with more of that with the heads I pick.

I was looking at PRC head from TSP, I talked to someone on Monday and they said they dont have heads anymore due to gm stop producing them. So I would have to send a set in for them to do work. I dont like the idea of me having to buy some used 243 or similar heads and sending them in. I would rather not take the chance of buying a damaged head form someone online, I would feel better if i just bought the heads completely assembled and milled good to go.

Name brand head as in tick flow or similar isn't out of the question, like i said i dont know much so I'm not sure if they are worth the extra money.
Any input will be great
Thanks
Tony

Yes, i called because im unsure which stage i would need with my cam. I was also asking whats the difference between the 2.5 and 3. They said i would have to send mine in as gm doesnt produce anymore.

I'm really surprised they don't have any castings in house anymore. How much you looking to spend on heads?

Dont have a budget but dont wanna break the bank. Like the trick flows 215cc for about 2600$ arent out of my budget just more than i was thinking.
Thats part of my question is it worth the extra money for just say trick flows over PRC or similar porting companys. Its just my fun car, sure i want it to go like hell but i wont be racing in a et class or anything. If that makes sense

I hear ya. I'd consider calling places like Advanced Induction and see what they can do. Out of the box TFS 215's are going to be comparable to a good set of ported 243's

Thanks. I tired searching forums but didnt have too much luck with someone having the same or close to my cam. Started coming across porting companys but im not sure who or why their company is better than the others. Guess i better get a move on if i want my car ready by spring.

I'd try calling Vengeance Racing as well since they designed the cam. I'm sure they've seen and designed several head and cam packages with that cam

Most of Vengeance high powered combo packages consisted of using TFS heads.

Why not go with the TFS 220cc heads. Get them from Brian Tooley and have him do his touch up work to them. They are on par with out of the box cnc'd TFS 215cc heads.

^^ This. There is a bit to be gained on the 215cc CNC heads, but the 220cc as cast are a GREAT budget option. Give me a call or e-mail at david@vengeanceracing.net if you have any questions on these.

Thank you!
