I have tried searching the forum to understand what type of heads to get.
Can someone provide some direction on basics of heads. I have actually learned more about intake ports, runners, valves from google than anywhere else.

I just feel lost when it comes to figuring out what I think would be a good setup because I don't understand the basics.

I am a firm believer in understanding my car and this has been frustrating. I also do most all the work on my car myself. I have learned do everything from this forum.

I have tried searching the forum. Just can't seem to find a basic explanation on what each component of the short block does so I can figure out what setup would work for me.

I usually search using Google, but put ls1tech.com into the search. For instance, try typing " Types of heads ls1tecg.com" that will pull up threads from this site.
