Default Can someone help me identify these valve springs ?

Can someone help me identify which make/model springs these are ?

Length is 2.5in, OD is 1.3in, ID is 0.72in

Hoping to use these guys on a 6.0 with a nasty cam, something like an MS3 or equivalent meant to rev a bit higher. Any thoughts ? Are these definately LSx springs ?

They look like the Associated spring that everyone sells as the basic dual spring package for the LS - only way to kinda know is to run them over the spring tester.

Regardless, if they are the Associated spring, or simply of unknown origin you shouldn't use them with a really fast ramp cam anyways. Do it right and get the correct PAC springs for your application.

they look like a NASCAR spring based on the progressive rate and the fact they are tip conditioned. Any info on them?

The owner of only knows they're for an ls. Think I should grab these for $100? Think they'll support an ms3 or equivalent?

No idea what they are good for. You can try them out. Best bet would buy a new complete kit.

Yeah, it's going to be a roll of the dice. You could have them checked for closed and open pressures, but I doubt a seller on CL is going to want to deal with having them tested first.

We do have new dual spring kits in stock and ready to ship, starting at $219.99! It's your choice of our PRC .650" or the PAC .660" dual spring. You can upgrade to titanium retainers for $30.

Sure, it's more than $100, but you get all new hardware with your new springs. Let us know if we can help!

Pass on the springs and spend the money on something you know is going to work.

The correct valve spring is a shitload cheaper than a new engine.
