How much can it take without a trip to a chassis-dyno?
Looking at 216/224-117+4 553/553 as possibly qualifying.

In all honestly I would say don't waste the time with the camshaft swap if you aren't willing to tune it.

It sounds like he's planning on tuning it just wants to know how much he can drive without it.

Basically you can get away without tuning it, but it will drive like crap and you won't see anywhere near the full benefits that you would with a tune.

So just to get around you can, but you should plan on tuning it ASAP.

Like all these guys say... id get it to a tune within a couple days ... cause u might be using more gas then usual. It will run like crap.. probably bog... idle like ****... trust me it happend to me lol.. i was crusing into the movie theaters to this car meet and it died on me infront of everyone lol so ur best bet is to get it tuned..
If u dont want to go to a chassis then order a mail tune..

If you are changing injectors do not try to drive without a tune. Otherwise with that cam you might be able to drive it until you get it tuned but don't go wot. When i put a 212/218 113+3 .530 lift cam i was able to drive it without any issues before tuning but i also have a manual trans.
