Default Comp degree help

Hey guy I'm ready to degree my cam right now just got done installing it. Only thing got me stuck right now is getting the comp ls crank socket over my oil pump drive gear! It is very tight I don't see how it goes over it? I have the comp ls specific degree kit. Any advice from anyone who has use the comp cams socket?

Everything look fine i just can't get it to physically fit over oil drive gear. I went ahead and degreed it with crank bolt and washers to hold wheel. Little dissapointed

I'm having this same issue. Going to swap the socket out at jegs for another one. Maybe it's an issue with the machining of the socket.

UPDATE: Went to jegs and exchanged sockets. The new one fits. The old one was not machined correctly. Sucks I had to go through that.

I just had the same problem. I had to take off the crank key because the jp performancs oil pump drive gear is machined different than stock. But it worked perfect when I took off the crank key.
