TMS Iron 408. L92 heads or CNC ported ls3 heads?

i believe there is some variables to keep in mind for example the drive train, car weight , aerodynamics all of these come to play a roll.
i made 510 rwhp through dana s60 (9.75'' gear) with very similar build using stock ls3 injectors and i can tell you that between 6000 rpm to 6800 the motor were pushing the injectors to 94% duty cycle on the dyno and even to 96% on the street as you can notice the 2% difference between the dyno and the real world as the dyno will only see the drive train loss but on the street the weight and the aerodynamics will give there contributions.
i am keeping those injectors maybe for a year or so.
and i can see that your combo home is a vette so i wont worry about it much
Good luck with the build !

So I ended up going with the stock LS3 heads. I read an article where they took a 468ci LS motor with a 280ish cam and made 692hp on stock ls3 heads. Put a set of cnc'd LS3 heads on and picked up 28hp. So with a 408 and a a much smaller cam I would likely see maybe 20hp? I figure I'll just take that $800 and get me a decent plate kit and make another 150hp....
