ls1 cam for DD
Ive picked a few different cams.. but cant choose which one. car is an auto, plan to run around a 3000 stall, car will be every other day DD. will go to the track a few times a year. will be getting P&P 243s, LT headers, 90mm intake, 3.42 gears. anybody use any of these cams before? and what kinda results did you get? or do you have any other recommendations? thanks.

I would avoid the Comps.
With your conservative stall choice I would look at this:

Maybe make the jump to the Titan 4 227/232 since you will get some extra compression from the 243s.
If it just has to be one from your list the BTR cam would be my pick but have him get it ground through Cam Motion instead of Comp.

Look at the TSP torquer 2. That cam was awesome as a daily and makes excellent power. They also have the best lobes of any manufactures out there IMO.

No arguments there on Brian Tooley Racing being a superb vendor. I'm running several of his parts on my car and have sent a lot of local guys to him for the same parts.
But on the other side of the coin there is nothing Comp could do which would regain my business. The issue not being simply the subpar product they had for some time but the customer service the people who got bit by it (myself included) received. For the sake of not cluttering OP's thread I will leave it at that.
Good to hear they got it fixed though.
